Florida’s WIC Program provides vouchers for nutritious foods purchased at authorized stores. Clients purchase the foods at WIC-authorized retailers using a WIC EBT card.
The food package tailored for the individual client is loaded onto the EBT card at the WIC office during certification and nutrition education follow-up appointments.
WIC provides the following:
- WIC supplemental foods with EBT card
- General nutritional guidelines for feeding your infant, toddler, and child
- Nutrition guides during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postpartum
- Referrals for healthcare and resource services
