The Florida Department of Health in Hernando County not only coordinates the special nutrition program for women, infants, and children (WIC), but it also provides community education in schools, programs on nutrition related subjects for the community, and food service consultation and menu reviews for private facilities licensed in Florida.
Payment is due at the time service is rendered. We accept cash or check with state-issue identification. Flat rate fee for service is $65 per hour.
Community Nutrition
Registered Dietitians and nutrition educators conduct nutrition programs and seminars for the public. Media resources, in-service training, and school health nutrition advisory services are available.
