Brooksville- The Florida Department of Health in Hernando County has implemented modified operations at the 300 South Main Street, Brooksville location beginning June 1.

• WIC offices are open Tuesdays and Fridaysfrom 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with limited services after 3:30 p.m.
• The medical clinic is open Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments strongly recommended.

WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC provides no cost healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals for health care.

The medical clinic provides childhood and adult immunizations, family planning, reproductive health, STI/STD infection treatment and prevention as well as education. Childhood immunizations are offered at no cost. Any sexually active adult or adolescent can be seen regardless of age or income.

The Spring Hill location is available for all services Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
