DOH-Hernando Hosts Revive Awareness Day Event

Hernando County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Hernando County (DOH-Hernando) recognizes June 6 of each year as Revive Awareness and invites the public to attend this year’s event on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
The event will be held from Noon – 2 p.m. at:

Revive Awareness Day raises awareness about the importance of overdose prevention, education, and access to lifesaving resources. This event is free to all to learn more about how to spot the signs of an overdose, how to use naloxone to reverse the effects of an overdose, and what resources and programs are available to support individuals with substance use disorder. Lunch will be provided by Hernando Community Coalition.
