Dental Health Program

Florida Department of Health in Hernando County

Healthy Smiles

Welcome!

Thank you for choosing Hernando Healthy Smiles as your oral health care provider. The dental program promises to help you and your child achieve excellent oral health in an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect.

We accept children as soon as their first tooth comes in (usually around six to eight months) and up. We see adult clients on a very limited basis.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our office policies.

Available Appointments

Our staff will do their best to schedule your appointment as soon as possible. We will give you the next available appointment when you contact our office or at the end of your visit. For your convenience, you may make appointments for up to 2 family members per day.

Broken Appointment Policy

When you make appointments we expect you to show up on time. If you fail to keep an appointment you are depriving someone else of this time. It is also your responsibility to keep track of your child's appointment. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in suspension or dismissal from the dental program

Treatment Rooms Policy

We ask that parents remain in the waiting room while their child is receiving treatment. We understand your child may be worried about his/her dental appointment. We will do our best to alleviate their fears. We appreciate your cooperation with this policy.

Emergency Dental Services
